East of the center, Pradl is a large residential district of families, students and workers. There are few sights, just unfussy cafes, bakeries and neighborhood restaurants, and prices are well below the Old Town. Streets are calm, and trams and buses reach the center in about ten minutes. Evenings are quiet; Pradler Straße and Amraser Straße are the main places where people gather. It suits longer stays or a tight budget, and anyone who wants to see everyday Innsbruck. The Sill and Pradler Saggen have green riverside paths, but use them in daylight.

A local neighborhood with independent bars and the best river views in the city. It is safe and friendly, but the quiet side streets and the river path are best avoided alone late at night.
Saggen is a calm residential area close to the Old Town. It suits quiet nights; dinner and drinks are mostly elsewhere.
