Details

Marjanishvili has changed a lot since Fabrika hostel opened in 2016. What was a local area is now mixed - traditional khinkali spots alongside wine bars, the old Dezerter Bazaar market near newer cafes. Aghmashenebeli Avenue has restored buildings and pedestrian areas. Metro station makes it accessible. The area around Fabrika stays busy at night with backpackers and locals. More of a scene than the quieter residential neighborhoods, but still feels less polished than Old Town.

The main tourist area with the sulfur baths, fortress, and most of the wine bars. Crowded during the day, active at night. Some tourist-trap bars near Shardeni Street - check prices before ordering. Good central base if you want to be near everything.
