By midnight people drink in the streets because venues are full. The crowds and police mean violent crime is rare, but you'll deal with drunk people trying to chat you up. Watch your drink - spiking incidents reported. Rosé bar aims for safer atmosphere with mirrored walls and good lighting. Well-lit, central, easy to get a taxi out. More university party than sophisticated nightlife - fun if that's your thing, exhausting if not.
