It feels more like Delhi or Mumbai than Rajasthan. Designer boutiques, international restaurants, rooftop bars. Everyone's well-dressed and the vibe is polished rather than touristy. English is standard since most places cater to business travelers and upper-class Indians used to Western culture. Eating alone is totally normal - plenty of women sit at cafes working on laptops or reading. Security is good with private guards outside venues, decent lighting, regular police. Weekends stay busy until midnight with people moving between bars. Everything costs more here - expect Delhi prices for coffee and cocktails. But you get actual safety, zero hassle from touts, and a comfortable environment if you want a break from traditional India. Best area for nightlife that actually feels reliable.
