Don't Make These 5 Mistakes in Vilnius

What 90% of solo women don't know about staying safe in Vilnius.

Summary

Vilnius's most expensive neighborhood with nice architecture, very safe, next to Vingis Park. Quiet in evenings - good if you want safety and peace, not so much if you want nightlife or social scene.

Details

The most expensive neighborhood in Vilnius - tree-lined streets, wooden houses with detailed architecture, several embassies. Became the elite area in the 1990s because it's close to the center and borders Vingis Park. You'll see families walking dogs, embassy people, quiet residential vibe. Restaurants and cafes are pricey, catering to wealthy locals and diplomats. Quality is good but you pay for it. English is common since expats and embassy staff live here. Very safe, low crime, well-lit, regular police. Gets quiet after 10pm - no real nightlife, mostly residential. You'll need to taxi or walk 15-20 minutes to find bars or evening action. Good if you want quiet and safety, boring if you want atmosphere.
