The Fløirestaurant has a casual Brasserie serving local food daily, Peisestuen for cocktails, and Schou restaurant with a 10-course tasting menu. Fløistuen café sells the Fløyenbollen cinnamon bun with coffee. Skomakerstuen cabin opens seasonally. Hiking trails, mountain biking, and forest walks spread out from the summit. The Vidden trail to Mount Ulriken takes about 5 hours. Walking down takes 45 minutes through forest trails. Daily guided hikes run mid-June through mid-August. You'll see families, elderly locals on morning walks, and other solo hikers - safe during daylight. The area gets dark and empty at night outside the restaurant area, so don't hike after sunset. Skip the 125 NOK funicular and walk up in 45 minutes if you want to save money - same views. Playground reopens in 2026.
