Miami, United States
What 90% of solo women don't know about staying safe in Miami.
Miami's financial district with glass towers, rooftop bars, and young professionals. Very safe with good walkability and late-night options. Feels corporate and sterile, lacks authentic Miami character.
Glass high-rises full of offices, condos, and young professionals. During the day it's the financial district, after work it's rooftop bars and restaurants. The area feels safe - clean streets, good lighting, people around constantly. The free Metromover runs through here connecting to downtown. Everything is walkable within Brickell itself. You'll find gastropubs and upscale rooftop places with bay views. Young professionals eat alone all the time while working on laptops, so solo dining is normal. The atmosphere is business-oriented and cosmopolitan, which means fewer aggressive promoters and tourist scams than South Beach. Everyone speaks English since it's a business area. The downside is it feels corporate and sterile - all high-rises and chains rather than anything authentically Miami. Bars stay open until 5am on weekends. Good if you want safety and nightlife without the South Beach scene.
