Details

Brooklyn Heights feels like a charming suburban neighborhood that happens to have incredible Manhattan views. The promenade is beautiful and safe for walking or jogging, even in the evening, and the historic brownstones create a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere. It's very quiet and residential - you'll see families with kids and older residents who've lived there for decades. The neighborhood is extremely safe but can feel a bit sleepy if you're looking for nightlife. It's perfect if you want to escape the Manhattan chaos while staying close enough to easily get downtown. Just know that you'll be heading into Manhattan for most dining and entertainment options.
