Details

Williamsburg is Brooklyn's trendy neighborhood full of millennials with money, craft cocktail bars, and artisanal everything. It's definitely safe and has a cool, creative vibe, but it can feel a bit try-hard with all the perfectly curated coffee shops and boutiques. The waterfront has amazing Manhattan views and the area stays busy with young professionals, especially on weekends. It's about 15 minutes to Manhattan on the L train, which is convenient but can get crowded. You'll see lots of young women out alone, especially brunching or shopping on weekends. It's gentrified enough that safety isn't really a concern, though it can feel expensive and a bit insular from the rest of the city.
