Details

Parque 93 is where Bogotá's money shows - you'll see people walking designer dogs, expensive cars parked outside restaurants, and everyone dressed like they're heading to important meetings even on weekends. The park draws well-dressed families during the day and couples in the evening, especially when there are outdoor concerts. The Canadian Embassy being nearby means constant police presence and excellent street lighting that stays on until 2am. The restaurants cater to business lunches and client dinners, so all the staff speak English and the service is professional. You'll pay significantly more for everything compared to other neighborhoods, but the security is genuinely excellent. Even late at night, the combination of embassy security, hotel doormen, and private guards makes it feel very safe to walk around alone.
