Details

Telliskivi Creative City is a former industrial complex with old Soviet-era factories now housing creative businesses, design shops, galleries, street food, and cafes. Over 300 companies work here, mostly creative types. The area has murals, weekend vintage markets, and places like F-Hoone and Fotografiska's restaurant. Depoo food street has various cuisines - Japanese, Mexican, etc. Peatus serves burgers in an old Soviet train car. It's a young, international crowd. You'll see people working alone on laptops or browsing shops solo. Many places open after 4pm and some close on Sundays, so check hours. The area is safe with good lighting and foot traffic. It's next to Kalamaja, and you can take tram 1 or 2 to Telliskivi stop from Old Town. English is widely spoken since it's an international creative community. Laid-back atmosphere.
