Summary

Safe gated business complex with 24-hour cafes and restaurants, but isolated from the rest of Manila. Good for remote workers who want safety and don't mind being stuck in one area.

Details

A self-contained business complex in Quezon City built around call centers and BPO companies for people working night shifts. The whole area is gated with 24-hour security, so it's safe to walk around even at 3am when bars and restaurants are still serving call center workers. Like a smaller, less polished version of BGC - modern buildings, international restaurants, manufactured but secure. Young Filipino professionals working for international companies, so English everywhere and decent service. Eating alone at any hour is normal since shift workers eat at all times. The problem is it's far from the rest of Manila - 30-45 minutes by Grab to Makati depending on traffic. You're basically stuck in the Eastwood complex unless you want to spend time and money getting elsewhere. Good if you're working remotely and want safety plus late-night cafes, frustrating if you want to explore Manila.
